FRIDAY'S GAME PREVIEWS

BOYS

MATCH OF THE DAY

St Patrick Tournament

The Shamrocks host a variety of quality teams in a nine-team tournament that gets started on Friday afternoon with an early matchup between the hosts and Evanston. Also in the mix are Brother Rice, H-F, LWE, Libertyville, Loyola, Waubonsie, and Young. Two of the most intriguing contests on Friday involve #15 Waubonsie Valley, as they face #12 Loyola and #10 H-F in two tough matchups.

KEEP AN EYE ON:

#5 Fenwick at Stevenson - The Friars head to Stevenson to get the second-half of the season underway against a Patriots team that will look to spring an upset in Lincolnshire on Friday night.

#23 Lincoln-Way North at Lockport - Both teams will look to stay above .500 in tonight's contest, while both are also likely fighting for a spot in the Top 25 as well when they play at Lockport on Friday night.

GIRLS

MATCH OF THE DAY

Fenwick Tournament - Day 2

The second bracket at the Fenwick Tournament gets underway on Friday, which includes the hosts, #1 St Ignatius, #8 H-F, #11 New Trier, and Florida's #1 team (Winter Park). New Trier gets the first shot at Winter Park and also plays St Ignatius later in the night, so things should be interesting for the Trevians on Friday, Fenwick takes on H-F in a tough matchup in the night's second game, while the evening wraps up with a contest between H-F and Winter Park.

KEEP AN EYE ON:

Lake County Tournament - Play continues at the Lake County Tournament on Friday after four contests took place on Thursday. The teams to beat, Mundelein and Stevenson, were both victorious in their first-round contests.

Lockport at Lincoln-Way North - The Porters have put together a four-game win streak and will look to make it five in a row when they face Lincoln-Way North on Friday night.
