ST IGNATIUS

UIC Sectional Preview - GIRLS
The UIC Sectional has always had a competitive final game, with St Ignatius and Latin in the mix. Throw in a wildcard with Evanston as the new team invited to the dance, and the UIC Sectional gets even more interesting. St Ignatius hosts the sectional and earned the #1 seed with narrow victories over both Latin and Evanston in the regular season. They get a first-round bye and face the winner of the game between #4 Young and #5 Northside. On the other side of the bracket, #2 seed Latin will face #7 seed Curie from the Chicago Public League, while #6 Lane will look to pull an upset against #3 seed Evanston.

KEYS

- Kennelly: Wolfpack's best offensive weapon looks to make a major impact

- Hybinette: Can make a difference in the net and as a scorer

- Almarez: Can change the outcome of a game at anytime

- Manasse, Henderson, Carlson, etc: Romans have a loaded starting lineup

- Wich/Hatcher: Wich provides the defense while Hatcher provides the scoring

- Granato/Klontz: Northside's best will be thinking upset against Young
