Waubonsie Sectional Preview - BOYS
Traditionally one of the most highly competitive sectionals, the song remains the same this year at Waubonsie Valley. Central and Waubonsie split during the regular season, so there is no clear-cut favorite between the #1 seed Warriors and the #2 seed Redhawks. Throw in the fact that Naperville North is lurking in the shadows as a #3 seed, plus a couple of darkhorses are present, and the WV Sectional is tough to figure. #4 seed Neuqua Valley will do battle with #5 seed Hinsdale South in what could be one of the best opening round games the state has to offer. The winner earns a semifinal matchup with either Waubonsie or #8 seed St Charles North. On the other side of the bracket, #3 seed Naperville North takes on #6 seed Hinsdale Central, with the winner to face either Naperville Central or #7 seed St Charles East.

KEYS

- Bell: What role will the Redhawks' senior play (offense, defense, etc.)?

- Gucinski: Senior motivated in last chance for a trip downstate

- Buck/Handley: Huskies tandem may surprise everyone and advance to state

- Mikuzis: Talented freshman holds the key to Neuqua's chances

- Serrao, Wanta, Nelson, Colianni: Which Hinsdale players can make a difference?

- Shallow/deep pool: Will this play a difference in the final outcomes?
