      Brother Rice 12 Loyola 8 
      Mike Mulcrone totaled 5 goals as 
      Brother Rice upended Loyola 12-8 in Catholic League action on Wednesday. 
      The Crusaders built a 6-4 lead at halftime before pulling away from the 
      Charlie Dowdle-led Ramblers (4 goals). The teams meet again on Friday in 
      the first round of the Brother Rice Tournament. 
        
      
      Fenwick 22 DeLaSalle 3 
      Tom Osmolak scored 6 goals, Matt 
      Bresnahan added 4 scores, and both Ben Skowren and Mike Deacy scored 3 
      goals as Fenwick defeated DeLaSalle 22-3. Keith Miller made 6 saves and 
      earned the win in his first game in goal for the Friars. 
        
      
      Fenwick 23 St Viator 6 
      Connor Brown and Matt Farmer 
      both scored 7 goals to lead Fenwick past St Viator 23-6 on Wednesday. Ted 
      Herbstritt tallied 3 goals and Viken Huening added a goal and 8 assists in 
      the win for the Friars. 
        
      Lincoln-Way 
      Central 18 Bremen 7 
      Petar Jackovich scored 5 goals 
      and Jacob Bernard added 4 scores to help lead Lincoln-Way Central to an 
      18-7 win over Bremen. 
        
      
      St Ignatius 11 St Rita 4 
      Mark Alvarado recorded 5 goals 
      and Tom Maloney added 3 scores as St Ignatius defeated St Rita 11-4. 
 
GIRLS 
      
      Lincoln-Way Central 17 Richards 16 
      Danijela Jackovich connected on 
      a shot from beyond midpool as time expired to give Lincoln-Way Central a 
      17-16 win over Richards on Wednesday. The Knights' sophomore recorded 10 
      goals and 7 steals in the victory, while Ashley Knight, Charlene Dundek, 
      and Kaitlyn Thompson each scored 2 goals for LWC. Richards' Lisa Gorski 
      tied the game with two seconds remaining after forcing a turnover in front 
      of the Knights' goal, before Jackovich provided the heroics at the buzzer 
      for LWC. Gorski scored 6 times, Sam Craig totaled 4 goals, and both Andrea 
      Jaramillo and Michelle Jozefowicz scored 3 times in the loss for the 
      Bulldogs. The two teams could meet again in the semifinals of this 
      weekend's Lincoln-Way Tournament. 
        
      Loyola 9 
      Mother McAuley 6 
      Brittany Wallace poured in 7 
      goals to help Loyola hold off Mother McAuley 9-6 on Wednesday night in a 
      key Catholic League contest. 
        
      Northside 5 
      Resurrection 3 
      Kelly Buchanan and Megan 
      Gillespie both scored 2 times and Cecile Franke made 12 saves as Northside 
      edged Resurrection 5-3. 
        
      Prospect 5 
      Wheeling 3 
      Meg Dix scored 2 goals and 
      Jessica Cavaiani, Kallie Shields, and Tori Shields each added goals as 
      Prospect fended off Wheeling 5-3 in a low-scoring MSL East contest on 
      Wednesday evening. The Knights jumped out to a 4-1 lead in the opening 
      quarter and held the Wildcats to just two goals the rest of the way with a 
      strong defensive performance and the play of goaltender Tori Thompson.

      Emma Fleming and Maura Connors 
      each recorded 4 goals to 
      lead St Ignatius to a 12-1 victory over Young on Thursday.
