MONDAY'S GAME PREVIEWS

BOYS

MATCH OF THE DAY

#11 Loyola at #8 St Ignatius

Two evenly matched teams go head-to-head at UIC as the Ramblers and Wolfpack play an important Catholic League fixture on Monday night.

KEEP AN EYE ON:

#4 Lyons at #10 Homewood-Flossmoor - The Vikings finished 3-1 at the St Patrick Tournament over the weekend and went 5-1 last week, so they'll try to use that momentum when they travel to LaGrange to take on fourth-ranked Lyons Township. The Lions won their only game last week over #21 Stagg and are 8-3 this season.

#22 St Patrick at #5 Fenwick - The Shamrocks had a good showing at their own tournament over the weekend, but they'll need to be at the top of their game if they hope to upset the fifth-ranked Friars in Oak Park on Monday. Fenwick earned wins over Neuqua Valley and Stevenson last week, so they'll be looking to keep their winning streak in tact when they host St Patrick.

GIRLS

MATCH OF THE DAY

#2 St Ignatius at #6 Loyola

The Wolfpack remain perfect in the Catholic League after five weeks, but they'll need to be ready for a challenge from the Ramblers when the two teams do battle in Wilmette on Monday night.

KEEP AN EYE ON:

#8 Homewood-Flossmoor at #1 Lyons - The top-ranked Lions (14-0) will look to stay perfect this season when they play host to H-F on Monday afternoon.

#24 Hersey at #22 Prospect - The Huskies and Knights square off on Monday in a battle for second place in the MSL East.
