through the opening period and Mundelein takes a quick timeout
*** The teams trade possessions before Jon Nadel makes
a save in the final minute of the period to prevent a goal
*** Hodges connects from five-meters out at the end of
the quarter to give Stevenson a 2-1 lead

Mustangs their first lead in the final minute of the half

sweeps a shot in to give Stevenson a 6-5 lead
*** Hodges notches his third goal to give the Patriots
a 7-5 lead and Mundelein takes a timeout to regroup
*** Adam Turkula finds the left corner to get Mundelein
with one goal
*** Rembialkowski delivers on an outside shot to give
Stevenson a two-cushion late in the period
*** Hodges fires a shot his own end that hits the
crossbar and drops behind the goaline at Stevenson leads Mundelein 9-6

*** The Stevenson defense holds Mundelein for the
remaining four minutes and grabs a huge 10-7 victory over their rivals
