BOYS

Hersey 12 Libertyville 10

Steve Petro tallied 7 scores to lead Hersey to a 12-10 win over Libertyville. Tommy Keete scored 6 goals in the loss for the Wildcats.

 

Lockport 16 Hinsdale South 3

Chris Bowman notched 4 scores for Lockport as they defeated Hinsdale South 16-3 in nonconference play on Wednesday.

 

Neuqua Valley 12 Lincoln-Way East 6

AJ Quebbeman recorded 5 goals and Kevin Patterson added 4 scores to lead Neuqua to a 12-6 victory over LWE.

 

St Ignatius 12 York 5

Mark Alvarado recorded 5 goals and Brayden Amendola added 3 scores as St Ignatius knocked off York 12-5.

 

St Viator 12 DeLaSalle 7

Peter Cleary scored 3 times and both Gregg O'Connor and Justin Imhoff added 2 scores in St Viator's 12-7 win over DeLaSalle.


GIRLS

Conant 6 Glenbrook South 5

Kristi Burke tallied 3 scores, Jessica Southern scored 2 times, and Andie Cobb added a goal as Conant edged GBS 6-5. Lucie Banahan also made 9 saves in the Cougars win.

 

Deer Park 9 Meadows 3

Phoebe del Greco scored 4 goals to lead Deer Park to a 9-3 victory over Rolling Meadows.

 

Fenwick 12 Bremen 3

Annie Collins, Gena Wendt, Maggie Carey, Mimi Romano, and Nora Sweeney combined to score 8 goals to help lift Fenwick past Bremen 12-3 on Wednesday.

 

Hersey 8 Libertyville 3

Christine Rovani poured in all 8 goals for Hersey as they knocked off Libertyville 8-3.

 

Hoffman 10 York 5

Rachael Gallo and Vishwa Shah both scored 3 goals as Hoffman earned a 10-5 home win over York on Wednesday night.

 

Glenbrook North 12 Lake Forest 9

Beth Orbon, Margot Tuchler, and Mary Claire Seeberg each scored 3 times to lead GBN past Lake Forest 12-9. Emily Nowlin scored 8 goals in the loss to crack the century mark (103 goals) for the season.

 

Lockport 6 Hinsdale South 5

Megan Cavanaugh scored 3 goals to lead Lockport to a 6-5 victory over Hinsdale South.

 

Mundelein 8 Evanston 4

Alexis Jones, Alexis Philbrick, and Amy Klink each scored 2 times as Mundelein jumped out to a 6-0 lead en route to an 8-4 win over Evanston on Wednesday evening. Emily Tylka also made 15 saves in the Mustangs' win. Ellis O'Connor scored 2 goals in the loss for the Wildkits.

 

Northside 8 R-B 5

Kelly Buchanan scored 3 goals, Rhyan White added 2 scores, and Cecile Franke made 11 saves in Northside's 8-5 victory over R-B.

 

Richards 10 Hinsdale Central 8

Lisa Gorski scored 8 goals and Lauren Gorski totaled 12 saves as Richards upended Hinsdale Central 10-8 on Wednesday.

 

WEDNESDAY'S GAME PREVIEWS        

BOYS

MATCH OF THE DAY

Latin at New Trier (6:00pm) - The Trevians will look to bounce back from a pair of losses over the weekend when Latin comes to Winnetka on Wednesday night. The Romans continue their tough stretch of games after a narrow win over Oak Park last week and a loss to top-ranked Fenwick on Tuesday.

 

KEEP AN EYE ON:

Fremd at McHenry (6:00pm) - The Warriors seek their 25th win of the season when Fremd makes the trip up north on Wednesday.


GIRLS

MATCH OF THE DAY

Mundelein at Evanston (5:00pm) - The Mustangs and Wildkits meet for a nonconference matchup in Evanston on Wednesday night.

 

KEEP AN EYE ON:

Bremen at Fenwick (6:30pm) - #14 Bremen looks to spring an upset when they head to Oak Park to take on #1 Fenwick.
