WEDNESDAY'S GAME PREVIEWS

BOYS

MATCH OF THE DAY

Homewood-Flossmoor at Sandburg (5:00pm) - The SWSC Blue title is on the line when H-F travels to Orland Park to play Sandburg in what should be one of the most heated regular season contests of 2011. The Vikings won the first matchup 7-4 on April 20, but

H-F's late season loss to Lockport has the Eagles chomping at the bit for a chance to win the conference title.

KEEP AN EYE ON:

Waubonsie Valley at Stevenson (6:00pm) - The Warriors and Patriots meet up for their annual late-season fixture, as both teams look for a quality win to gain momentum heading into the postseason.

GIRLS

MATCH OF THE DAY

Prospect vs Fremd (4:30pm) - The Knights and Vikings meet in the Mid-Suburban League title game on Wednesday night. Both teams finished with perfect conference records in 2011, so something will have to give when everything is on the line in this contest.

-AND-

Sandburg at Homewood-Flossmoor (5:00pm) - #9 Sandburg is one of the last roadblocks in H-F's quest for a perfect season in the SWSC in 2011.

KEEP AN EYE ON:

Naperville North at New Trier (6:00pm) - The Huskies have earned some impressive wins late in the season, but they face another tough test when they travel to Winnetka to take on #12 New Trier on Wednesday.

-AND-

Waubonsie Valley at Stevenson (5:00pm) - EB Keeve and #17 Waubonsie Valley will look to spoil #7 Stevenson's party when they take on the Patriots on Senior Night in Lincolnshire.
